More than a week after twin earthquakes devastated Venezuela, thousands of people remain missing as the death toll climbs above 2,000. Rescue crews say the chances of finding additional survivors are rapidly diminishing, even as search efforts continue. 

Meanwhile, a massive humanitarian response is underway, with support pouring in from local organizations, including the Chinese Venezuelan community.
