The U.S. is cleaning up after the party of all parties. Millions across the country marked the 250 years since the birth of the nation on Independence Day, July 4. It was supposed to be a moment of maximum unity. 

But amid record breaking-temperatures, U.S. President Trump repeatedly turned up the political heat on an already highly-polarized country.
