FIFA has condemned videos circulating showing Argentina fans racially abusing IShowSpeed during the Egypt and Cape Verde games against Argentina.

“These actions have no place in football, at the FIFA World Cup, or anywhere in society,” FIFA said in a statement.

A formal investigation is underway.

Argentina fans were filmed making monkey gestures against IShowSpeed, who was supporting Egypt during the much-debated Round of 16 game. Fans were also recorded calling him the N-word and cursing him during the Cape Verde vs Argentina game in the Round of 32. #worldcup2026 #mtjag
