A new exhibition in Rio de Janeiro is offering visitors a rare glimpse into Chinese history through one of humanity's most universal experiences: Eating.

Bringing together artifacts from the National Museum of China in Beijing, it explores how food, ritual and culture have shaped Chinese civilization.
