The Midwest and Northeastern U.S. are bracing for heavy smoke and hazardous air pollution from wildfires in Minnesota and Canada.
Parts of Minnesota are under air quality alerts, and the northeastern region of the state is slated to reach hazardous air quality levels.
Air quality alerts were issued in parts of Minnesota and statewide in Michigan and Wisconsin on Tuesday, July 14.
