The U.S. Navy said it is conducting a safety review after social media footage taken by stunned beachgoers show military jets coming dangerously close to the beach while performing an aerial maneuver in Florida on Wednesday, July 15.

The Blue Angels flyover sent sand, hats, tents and beach chairs flying while they performed a “low-altitude pass”.

The flyby by the United States’ Navy and Marine Corps demonstration squad was part of an air show in Pensacola, celebrating their 80th anniversary. Take a look.
