Canada's First Nation communities say they didn't get wildfire alerts

Members of several First Nation communities in Canada say they were left to self-evacuate without government alerts or assistance during recent fast-moving wildfires that burned through Ontario.

The record-breaking wildfires forced evacuations from 13 First Nations and displaced 1,800 people from their homes.

Now, many leaders are calling for a public inquiry into the government's wildfire response.
