Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu is traveling to Washington for his eighth meeting with U.S. President Donald Trump since Trump’s return to office. The visit comes as the conflict involving Iran enters its sixth month, regional tensions remain high, and the Strait of Hormuz continues to face disruptions. The two leaders are expected to discuss Iran, Lebanon, Gaza and broader U.S.-Israel relations, which have shown signs of strain over military strategy. Netanyahu also faces domestic political pressure ahead of Israel’s October elections, where security remains a central campaign issue. CGTN's Diane Hodges reports from DC.
