FIFA has opened disciplinary proceedings against Argentina following incidents at the World Cup.

Two Argentina players are facing charges for striking Spanish opponents after the final, while the team has also been charged over a political banner displayed after the semifinal victory over England.

Argentina could face sanctions ranging from fines to suspensions, depending on the outcome of FIFA’s disciplinary process. FIFA has not yet announced a final decision.
