Is your food safe? Outbreak spreads across the U.S.

01:31

Several foodborne illnesses are currently circulating across the U.S.

They include the cyclospora outbreak, which the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention says is linked to iceberg lettuce supplied by Taylor Farms and grown in Mexico.

Cyclospora has been reported in nearly all 50 states, with more than 10,000 confirmed cases, including two deaths in Michigan.

A salmonella outbreak has also been reported, affecting hundreds of people in nearly 30 states.

It's been tied to jalapeno peppers served at U.S. chain restaurants Chipotle and Qdoba.
