After returning to the U.S. from a 10-day trip to China, retired American teacher Ronald Sakolsky said he was struck by how much the country had changed since he left in 1999.
“China did move into the future, but you did not forget your past,” he said, adding that he hopes more Americans will visit and learn about the country. “I came back home today, but I left a part of my heart in China.”
