After a 10-day trip to China, retired American teacher Ronald Sakolsky returned to the U.S. with vivid memories of his reunion with desert-control pioneer Yin Yuzhen, 27 years after they first met.
“I never thought I would ever see a forest, but I got to touch the trees,” Sakolsky told CGTN America after arriving home, reflecting on seeing once-barren land transformed.
