Canadian acts of kindness star in play about events of Sept. 11, 2001

Friday marked the 25th anniversary of the September 11th terrorist attacks in the U.S. Remembrances took place around the world to honor the nearly three-thousand who died. An enlightening, true story from that dark day is hitting the stage in Washington, D.C.  

The story is centered 18-hundred kilometers northeast of New York City’s Ground Zero in Gander, a small Canadian town in Newfoundland, a place where a special act of kindness put it on the map.
