The Canadian government says nearly $500 billion dollars in new investment will be making its way into the country after the first Canada Investment Summit concluded this week in Toronto. Investors from Canada and from around the world took part in the two-day summit. The event brought together investors from nearly 30 countries who oversee more than $100 trillion in assets. About 167 projects were on the table for discussion. Major investments were made in the sectors of energy, critical minerals and AI.
