The Trump administration said it was revoking the visas of nearly 30 Latin American officials, former officials and their families over accusations of corruption.

The restriction has affected officials and their families from Bolivia, Colombia, Ecuador and Peru.

The move came as a shock to some leaders, including Bolivia's attorney general, Roger Mariaca, one of the many officials whose visas were canceled.
