40% of the world exposed to harmful ozone
Heat and air pollution are fueling harmful ground-level ozone, threatening health across borders. A new report from the Copernicus Atmosphere Monitoring Service has found that nearly 40% of the world’s population was exposed to extremely high levels of ozone in 2026.
