The Chinese Embassy in the United States held a reception celebrating the 77th anniversary of the founding of the People’s Republic of China on Sept. 30.
Former U.S. teacher and friend of China, Ronald Sakolsky, shared a heartfelt message: “If it wasn’t for the Chinese people’s kindness, I would not be standing here,” Sakolsky said.
He also expressed hope that China and the U.S. can share ideas and work together toward a brighter future, especially for young people.
