Ambassador Xie Feng and Madame Wang Dan Attended

Chinese Ambassador to the U.S. Xie Feng highlighted the importance of cultural exchange and people-to-people ties at the “Future Resonance — ShanghaiEye Night” event in Washington, D.C.

Speaking at the October 3 gathering, Xie said cultural exchanges can help bridge differences, deepen mutual understanding and strengthen ties between China and the United States. He also called on business and community leaders to support more cooperation between the two countries.

The ambassador and his wife, Madame Wang Dan, were invited to the event as part of the “Shanghai Let’s Meet” city promotion initiative, which brought together government, business and community representatives and recognized individuals and organizations for their contributions to China-U.S. friendship.
