Robert Hux, Canadian Director of Schiller Institute, praised China’s governance achievements, highlighting poverty eradication and rural infrastructure development.

Hux made the comments following the conclusion of the fifth plenary session of the 20th Central Committee of the Communist Party of China, which set out plans to further strengthen full and rigorous Party self-governance.
